This piece is a string quintet, using Rondo that form to compose.

Remember the theme of this song is I remind me when my family member gone, but the memory with them just still alive in my mind.

Daydreaming（白日梦）

I composed this song when I finish first term in sophomore year. This song was made for Woodwind Quintet and it was my first time compose Woodwind Quintet.

The form of song is Rondo, A part as a main part express a serious sense just like in the class. About inserting part, B part seems like sneak off in the class so it not too long but soon come back to class. In C part, it shows a boring time in the class so nobody wants to calm down and concentrate on class even though teacher ask them to do that. In D part, student start to chat under class, somebody sneak off again even fall asleep. In the end, as the time out and “class over” they wake up.

Those sense happened when I was a high school student, at that time, lots of student can not focus on class so I use this sense and show it in my song. Compose in 2020

Sentimentality（多愁善感）

This song was made when I finished sophomore year, it was made for string quartet. It was finished when I was a sophomore.

This song is a sonata form, after the introduction I used Polyphony as my main theme. In connecting part, I used difference kinds of rhythm, then secondary theme comes slowly and movement. In development part, I used Polyphony theme at the beginning and develop it. Recapitulation cancel main theme, start at secondary theme and end.

I think I compose this song because I found my feeling changed a lot at that time, such as I need to study a number of classes it makes me busy and annoying so I think I should take sometime to have a break. Connecting part and secondary theme just feel like fast life and slow life. It shows my life at that time. Compose in 2019

Remember of the Childhood (童年回想)

This song is compose for Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Violin and Piano these five instruments.

Creating a relax, simple and dynamic childhood. Using fast speed to pushing the melody, mixing different time signature to make it not like pattern songs. But harmony are classic and stable.

Compose in 2020. Sorry for the record the sound of the Bassoon is quiet.

Gradually

Gradually is a song for woodwind quintet, include Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Horn and Bassoon. Using Sonata form and mount of skill of counterpoint, such as Canon, Transposition and instrument changing. In melodies, progressive is the most important way, temporary change is the same as progressive. This song help Linghan can learn temporary music in a leading way and practice counterpoint skills. Compose in 2019

Old Forest
(古森林）

This song using Flute, English Horn, Clarinet, Horn, Trumpet, Piano, Cello and Bass. It is the first time that Linghan using trumpet in his song, even though, he using the same time signature for the whole song but when you listening you can find out the strong beat are changing, some times changing by other instrument. He trying to create a song out of the tone, so mount of temporary change and rhythm change. During rehearsal, it is clear that is a difficult song for chamber music need a Conductor. Compose in 2021

Power of Yourself

(Fairytale story) P1

This piece was based on a fairytale story wrote by myself, using several instruments and combine story with short music together to create this whole piece. In this song, instrument and music theme represent different characters and scenes. In one of the part I used the Gradually which I composed before into it. But this one just shows a half of the whole story.
